Washburn University Holiday Piano Concert

On December 4, 2024, Dr. Junyi Nie had the pleasure of leading her Washburn University students in a special holiday piano concert at Carol Chapel. The performers were students from her MU 109 (Piano for Beginners) class, all of whom are non-music majors. After a semester of dedicated learning, they proudly performed their favorite piano pieces. Dr. Nie is incredibly proud of their hard work and progress!

In addition, her applied piano students—music majors who take piano as a secondary instrument—also showcased their talents. Their performances demonstrated significant improvement over the semester, and they played beautifully.

The audience thoroughly enjoyed the concert, and many students expressed their interest in learning piano with Dr. Nie in the future. It was a heartwarming and inspiring event, celebrating the joy of music and the dedication of her students.
