Mission & Vision
The goal of the lessons is not only to teach the student how to play the piano but also to help them become more well-rounded musicians. This includes learning basic fundamentals such as music theory, developing musical sensitivity and taste, and music appreciation.
Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to showcase their progress in twice-yearly studio recitals and participate in various musical events organized by esteemed organizations such as KCMTA, MMTA, Washburn..etc.

Payment is due every five lessons.
Payments are accepted in cash, check, Apple Pay, Venmo (@Junyi-Nie), or online through PayPal or Bank of America/Zelle (via njypiano@yahoo.com). Tuition is non-refundable. Payment is due every five lessons. Late payments received after the sixth lesson will incur a $5 late fee.
Photo and Video Release
Practice Expectations
Students are expected to practice regularly between lessons to progress effectively. Practice assignments will be given at each lesson.
Parent Involvement
Parents are encouraged to attend lessons, especially for younger students, to understand practice expectations and support their child's learning at home.
Video clips and photos taken by the teacher at recitals and other piano/music-related events may be posted occasionally on the studio website or social media to share studio events, activities, or students' accomplishments. The studio follows online safety rules regarding this matter. If you do not wish to have photos or videos of you or your child online, please contact Dr.Junyi Nie.
Studio Recitals and Events
Regular recitals and events will be organized to provide performance opportunities for students. Participation is encouraged but not mandatory.
Canceled Lessons Policy
Please notify the studio at least 72 hours in advance for lesson cancellations or rescheduling. Lessons canceled less than 72 hours in advance will be charged, except in cases of illness or emergency.
